   Misdemeanor proceedings

   Defense of individuals, entrepreneurs, legal entities and responsible persons within legal entities at all stages of misdemeanor proceedings, whether the proceedings were initiated by a request to institute misdemeanor proceedings or by the issuance of a misdemeanor order. Legal assistance includes case analysis, preparation of a written defense, representation before the court, proposing and challenging evidence, and drafting appeals and other legal remedies.

   Misdemeanor order and request for a court ruling

   We pay particular attention to cases initiated by the issuance of a misdemeanor order. A person who does not accept liability has eight days from receipt of the order to file a request for a court ruling. Already at this stage we analyze the factual description, the legal classification and the available evidence and, where the circumstances of the case warrant it, prepare a written defense and propose evidence together with the request.

   Limitation of misdemeanor prosecution and enforcement

   Monitoring deadlines is an integral part of our defense. In every case we separately analyze the relative and absolute limitation periods for instituting and conducting proceedings, as well as the limitation period for enforcing imposed sanctions.

   Appellate proceedings

   We draft appeals against first-instance misdemeanor decisions and represent clients before the Misdemeanor Appellate Court, with particular focus on material breaches of procedure, incorrect application of substantive law and deficiencies in the established facts.

   Legal entities and responsible persons

   We pay particular attention to the misdemeanor liability of companies, entrepreneurs and responsible persons, especially when the conduct of proceedings or the sanctions imposed may have a direct impact on the client's business.
